JOB VACANCIES AT BOMBADIER

Bombardier is the world’s leading manufacturer of both planes and trains. Looking far ahead while delivering today, Bombardier is evolving mobility worldwide by answering the call for more efficient, sustainable and enjoyable transportation everywhere. Our vehicles, services and, most of all, our 69,500 employees are what make us a global leader in transportation.

Bombardier is headquartered in Montréal, Canada and our shares are traded on the Toronto Stock Exchange (BBD). In the fiscal year ended December 31, 2017, we posted revenues of $16.2 billion.

We fulfill our promise to create better ways to move the world through our enterprise strategy – a roadmap that drives our commitment to solve for the world’s ever-growing need for mobility through innovation.

The strategy governs how we run our business and is designed to create both financial and non-financial value for our stakeholders. While it is an ambitious strategy and not without challenges — operational, technological and cultural — it is the right roadmap to be the company that answers some of society’s most pressing mobility challenges – urban congestion, unpredictable fuel prices and environmental uncertainty among them.

Bombardier Business Aircraft’s award-winning Service Center Network is currently recruiting for over 200 positions in the United States and in the United Kingdom, including Technicians, Customer Project Managers, Operations Supervisors and more.

Bombardier Business Aircraft’s Service Center Network’s dedicated team provides industry-leading maintenance and care to Bombardier Business Aircraft customers. The Network is comprised of nine facilities worldwide and a total of 23 Customer Response Team mobile units, all equipped to support Bombardier Learjet, Challenger and Global business aircraft.

At Bombardier, our 69,500 employees work together to move people forward around the globe—one good idea at a time.

Every day, millions of people get where they need to go aboard the planes and trains that we manufacture. Perhaps you do too.

We’re a global transportation company with 73 production and engineering sites in 28 countries, and a worldwide network of service centers.

At our Corporate office - located in the heart of Montréal, Canada - our work is as varied and dynamic as at our sites worldwide. We provide strategic leadership to the organization and support our business units, where we rank among the leaders in two fast-paced industries:

In aerospace, we have the industry's most comprehensive aircraft portfolio and are a leader in both business and regional aircraft.
In rail transportation, we’re the world's leading equipment and systems manufacturer.

At Bombardier, your future is yours to define. As one of our 69,500-plus employees, you’re not just someone who works here… you’re one of the people who drives our success. That’s why we’re committed to attracting and retaining the right talent by providing the conditions to develop a fulfilling career at Bombardier.

We are a global organization with an inclusive workplace and a diverse workforce. Inclusiveness is about more than creating an open and equitable environment regardless of a person’s ethnicity, culture or gender. It’s about embracing the different ideas, perspectives, skills and experiences brought to the table by all our employees. We value diversity because it leads to better ideas, stronger products and higher customer satisfaction. At Bombardier, our employees speak 65 languages, represent more than 100 nationalities and work in 45 countries.

We are setting a rigorous focus on gender balance. To that effect, our Board approved a Diversity policy setting Bombardier’s approach to achieving and maintaining gender balance on our Board and in management positions. The new policy reiterates the company’s will to further gender balance and will guide our action plan in the coming years.

We are committed to providing a work environment free of barriers and biases. A place where independence and dignity are fostered for all employees, clients and stakeholders. The Bombardier Code of Ethics and Business Conduct is our framework to be respectful of differences and to provide an inclusive workplace for all. It is key to the success and sustainability of our company.

We believe it is also every employee’s responsibility to maintain a respectful work environment free of all discrimination. Bombardier has zero tolerance towards any type of harassment and/or discrimination based on: race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, disability or veteran status, or any other protected category under applicable laws. Furthermore, Bombardier encourages everyday actions that make all employees feel valued, enabling you to realize your full potential. Everyone counts.

Like all Bombardier employees, you will participate in our career development program. You’ll complete a profile that allows you to indicate your career ambitions, interest in working at other Bombardier sites, and showcase your resume to management across the organization. In other words, the profile is your opportunity to build your career roadmap.

Twice a year, we perform competency based performance evaluations and you and your manager will have an opportunity to define personal short- and long-term objectives. Since we use the same evaluation system worldwide – all positions, all business units, all locations – we ensure equity across the organization. If you’re interested in working elsewhere at Bombardier, management regularly reviews employee profiles to plan for talent movement to support of business strategies.
